They've invested little on players.
They have a limited wage structure.
They've lost a good manager in the last two pre-seasons.
Brendan Rodgers was their fourth choice behind Speed, Howe and Hughes.
So how the hell are they on the verge of Premier League football?

the swansea players seem to enjoy playing for there fans and want success they dont think about the next club they are going to join, like some of ours.

they dont really have any stand out big time charlies and the ones who have been there for awhile still want to better themselves and are hungry for success and to most of them the club really means alot unlike most of our players. plus the 3 managers they have had are all better than dave jones.

Average team who play as a tight unit. Some players arguably better than you're own ie; Pratley, Sinclair, Dyer, De vries, Borini plus a better manager who oozes confidence & respect which ultimately transmits to the players then fans, again something you lack.
Not to dissimilar from ourselves in that the manager gets the best out of average players (minus Taarabt).

Can you imagine DJ running down the touchline punching the air, would be quite funny watching him run along the touchline with his hands in his pockets though
