over the last 6 years dave jones has done us proud, he had no money to buy players , if it wasnt for steve borley we would not of had bellamy this year , dave jones has had to use loan players from other clubs who to be fair dont even try to jell as team players.

as for bellamy .... great player city through and through but as for manager???? he would be fighting in the technicle area and make fergie and muriniho look like saints hahaha

I imagine Lennon was there to...

a) See where Matthews can improve his game if he came.

b) He loves Championship players so decided to scout the teams involved in the playoffs so he could pick at the players of those who didn't go up. I wouldn't be surprised if he bids for Bothroyd, Whittingham, McNaughton etc.
