Realistic Transfer Targets...............

Tue May 17, 2011 9:17 pm

I can only try to see tonights result as a positive. So we can build from afresh and get rid of the shit....including manager! There will be a new aura about the place come next season im telling you!

So with a large proportion of players having played their last games for city, i was wondering wo you would like to see down here for next season...........REALISTICALLY NOW LADS!!!!! :)

you know what though?........ we've tried some big name signings in recent seasons, which clearly has not paid off.

I think we should invest in young up-and-comers. someone like.......lest say Adam Le Fondre could be a good addition for the future, could probably do a decent job at present here, all them players need is a break!

Re: Realistic Transfer Targets...............

Earnshaw has posted on twitter he's considering his future. I'd love him back.

Sell Chopra.
Bring in Wes Morgan, Darren Ward and Danny Gabbidon.

I would be looking for the following side

GK - Federici, Camp or guy from Coventry - (This is the sort of standard we need)

RB - Quinn
CB - Keinan
CB - Loovens (With Gabbidon as the Backup for both CBs)
LB - McNaughton

RW - Burke
CM - McGugan - (From Forest)
CM - Whittingham
LW - (Someone fast who can cross the ball)

S - Earnshaw
S - Bellamy

would like to see loovens back as he was immense for us some years back. also I would welcome anthony gerrard back too.

one player i would like to see here would be giovanni dos santos - couple of million at most i reckon. (not sure what sore of wages he's on though) - clearly not wanted by spurs and has shown that he's willing to drop down a level too after a loan spell at ipswich.

Very similar player to taarabt.....makes things happen! could be great!

Eric Lichaj from Villa. He's been very good at Leeds this season. Age on his side too
Jason Roberts from Blackburn. May be big wages but would be great at this level.
Earnie from Forest. Him and Roberts would be superb together
John Pantsil from Fulham. Again, a great Premier League fullback who's just not getting a chance.
Tamir Cohan from Bolton. Never given a chance but he'd be what we need in Midfield
Simon Cox from WBA. Just doesn't fit there. Good striker. Can score from deep too
De Ridder from Wigan. Never given a chance, young and would want to prove himself. Cheap wages?
Loovens from Celtic. Hopefully, he can regain his from when he was with us.
Oilfinjana from Hull. Lets get him back. He's been good on the whole this season

I'd like to start next year as below

---------------------Heaton---------------------
--Lichaj - Hudson - Loovens - McNaughton--
-----Cohen -- Whittingham -- Olifinjana-----
--Earnie ---------- Roberts --------- Bellamy--

tell you what, some good shouts there! Lichaj is a quality player.

Re: Realistic Transfer Targets...............

I've felt Lichaj has looked distinctly average against decent opposition and I'd rather have Quinn instead of him. Some great shouts though, especially Tamir Cohen!

You surely can't have been at the Wales vs England game. I don't want that lazy mercenary anywhere near the jersey of a team I support again.
