SIGN LEAGUE ONE PLAYERS - NOT SPOILT PRIMA DONNA'S

WE WANT LITTLE VICIOUS BASTARDS WHO WANT TO PLAY FOR THE CLUB WITH PASSION AND DETERMINATION.

LOOK AT HOW WELL NORWICH, LEEDS AND MILLWALL DID IN THEIR FIRST YEAR UP HERE.

WE NEED TWO VICIOUS CM'S WITH A REPUTATION FOR BREAKING PEOPLE. WE NEED TWO OUT AND OUT WINGERS LIKE MCANUFF TYPE PLAYERS, WE NEED TWO PROVEN GOALSCORERS WHO CAN FINISH ONE ON ONES.

DONT GO FOR BIG NAMES. MARLON KING WOULD BE BRILLIANT WITH EARNIE.

MACKAIL SMITH

look how well Becchio, Holt and Gradel have done in the premiership this year after coming up. He knows how to find the net, sign him. He'll do it at this level too.

bakircioglu wrote:Eric Lichaj from Villa. He's been very good at Leeds this season. Age on his side too
Jason Roberts from Blackburn. May be big wages but would be great at this level.
Earnie from Forest. Him and Roberts would be superb together
John Pantsil from Fulham. Again, a great Premier League fullback who's just not getting a chance.
Tamir Cohan from Bolton. Never given a chance but he'd be what we need in Midfield
Simon Cox from WBA. Just doesn't fit there. Good striker. Can score from deep too
De Ridder from Wigan. Never given a chance, young and would want to prove himself. Cheap wages?
Loovens from Celtic. Hopefully, he can regain his from when he was with us.
Oilfinjana from Hull. Lets get him back. He's been good on the whole this season

I'd like to start next year as below

---------------------Heaton---------------------
--Lichaj - Hudson - Loovens - McNaughton--
-----Cohen -- Whittingham -- Olifinjana-----
--Earnie ---------- Roberts --------- Bellamy--

You must be shitting with that midfield lightweight or what ! Although I do like the additions.

A CM player we need is a Shaun Derry, or a player of similar type. I don't think we have had a player like that since Willie Boland, someone who will sit there, break up play and simple passes.

Would be nice to Earnie back, but love to have Danny Graham in the team, always seems to be in top scorers at the end of the season, playing for a average Watford side.

PS - First post, be gentle :D

League One is where we should be looking for young hungry players. Personally think that a Marlon King or Jason Roberts type with Earnie alongside would also work well for us.

I like some of the ideas floating about on here.

I really think Ishmael Miller could be an ideal replacement for the outgoing Bothroyd. lots of similarities. skillful, strong in the air and a lovely first touch for a big man. (not going to break into the WBA squad either with the likes of Odemwengie & co.)
Him and ernie could make a devistating strikeforce!

a right overhaul is definitely needed and could be a 3 year project, but as long as we get playing with passion and flair, with players who want to be here. Then i'm more than happy to let the premiership dream wait for a few more years.

Re: Realistic Transfer Targets...............

GK - if we could get Westwood brilliant, if not I think Heaton will still do okay.

DEF - with Gerrard coming back I feel that our defence would be ok, if we wanted another CB it would have to be Steven Caldwell or Billy Jones, I think they would be great. We could do with another FB as cover maybe Joe Mattock from West Brom as LB and one of the Liverpool RB's as they have a few coming through the ranks now.

MID - for me I'd buy Bullard and Collison and maybe get Michael Brown as the Hard b*stard plus also the young lad from Liverpool, Raheen Stirling who plays on the left wing on loan for the season as our midfielders.

ATT - One name that we should definately add is Simon Cox from West Brom, he's a free agent and was quality at this level, another would be Earnie, he proved on Monday that he still has the quality to score great goals. If we manage to get Bellamy as a player coach then that would be our attack sorted.

MANAGER - Martin O'Neill would be fantastic, but I would also happily take Di Matteo or Hughton.
