Redrow's Ninian Park Development Road Name

Guys, I work in the Strategic Estates section of the Council and just spoke to the guy involved in street naming and numbering for new Cardiff roads. They've been talking about what to name the new road that will pass through the development on Ninian Park. Someone, probably a woman (!), suggested a poll be sent out to schools around Cardiff to recommend names. The majority feel that this will just end up with one of the current players being used to name the road e.g. Chopra Close or Ledley Lane rather than Keenor Way or Charles Drive.

So I told this guy I would put the question to you guys to see what ideas we get back and I can pass them on to this guy to suggest as possible road names. They think it's just the one road they'll have to name but they might need to name other roads at a later date.

So what suggestions do you have for names of this road?

Ninian Park Road, then i presume the house street names will be named later after ex players, managers or chairmen.. Hmm I think Ridesdale Drive & Jones Avenue will be just about right after they've taken us to the premier league and introduced multi million pound investment.

oh and i almost forgot you could call one of the streets slaphead street after my involvment in the changing room fit outs

I know decisions have been made but in my opinion the famous teams of the forties and fifties probably had more legends - more men worthy of the honour - than any other period.
