Steve 55 years supporting city, and the two sets would have to be Toshack and Clarke and evans and alston

I would say the two most effective striker partnerships that I have seen in my time were Peter Thorne and Rob Earnshaw (classic big man, little man combination) or Jay Bothroyd and Ross McCormack. I think signing Chopra that season fucked up our season because the Bothroyd-McCormack partnership was doing really well.

Steve, My all time City partnership that I enjoyed watching was Dale and Stant :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The Dale and Stant partnership suffered slightly due to that long injury that Carl Dale had. Seeing them both up front together though with the level of commitment and desire that both players had was a privelage. 8-)

Arthur Scargill and Tyrone O'Sullivan formed a very formidable strike partnership back in the 80's
