i think its a sad stat though that people only a year or two into their jobs are so high up the rankings!

Special mention to Dario Gradi too. He's been Crewe manager on and off since like 2008 and was manager for 24 years before that.

Regarding Dave Jones' success in 6 years, remember we've been in a shit financial state for a good 4 or 5 of them years and as such any player of lasting quality has been sold.
We've lost a lot of amazing players over the years, if we'd been in a position to keep them we'd have walked into the Premier League years ago.

DJ's six years at the club have seen 6 years of relative success. 3 Wembley appearances, In the play offs twice, average gates more than doubled and no relegation worries.

The best six years this club have had in many decades.

His prickliness is annoying but look at it objectively, he has done a more than decent job.
