Paul Smith tweeting on the matter.

Sunday Mirro's Chief football reporter.

It seems the FA have fucked it up. Also, any points deducted will likely be put into effect next season (that's them relelgated next year then, if true) and a decision isn't likely before Monday.
It also seems that there is a lack of evidence against QPR.

Wouldnt trust the Mirror for a second, a bullshit newspaper. FA have fucked it up for now, but it'll be better if they announced a decision Monday to get it out the way.

The barrister is having a problem sorting out the large amount of evidence. If there is a lack of evdience then it would not take this long.

He's already been mentioned.

The guy said he'd not reveal his source.

he previously tweeted one of QPR's legal leaders was a mate.

He's merely repeating what QPR legal staff are leaking to him.

hardly likely to say "we're fucked", are they?

That journo has also been challenged by a director of Brentford to provide documentation showing QPR can't be docked points after end of season. He's failed to do so.

Weren't Swindon relegated after the end of the season?

Yeah - however, that wasn't a *points* deduction.

Swindon were demoted down the divisions.

A punishment that was not held over until the next season then?

Nope.

And as the brentford director asked of someone on twitter "so, if a team fielded an ineligible player in the playoffs, they;d be ok?"

he posted about mark palios as well saying "he's just a self publicity seeking idiot who had no facts to back up his claims."

Yet paul smith is posting all this with no real facts or evidence to back up his claims. Typical journalism

He's pretty much spot on. Sadly it looks like Stan is in the right on this one.

As someone else is saying, everybody is now second guessing and we're getting a hundred different viewpoints.

I could be wrong, but is there not a rule that stops any team in the Premier starting the season on negative points?

If they are going to deduct points, it would be this season as the season is still active.

The above comes from my QPR supporting mate, but he wasn't 100% on it.

the football league and premier league are two seperate entities and competitions
any points deduction will be taken this year and not in the premier
