A POEM COS I WAS BORED...........................

So here we are another season,
Coming to an end,
Some games we`ve been happy with,
some have driven us round the bend.

Another City rollercoaster ride...
will be over soon and gone,
Lets hope this year we can bloody make sure,
Those promotion wheels stay on!!!!!

So will we go up automatically?
At QPRs expense,
Although it sounds like the FA,
are sitting on the fence.

Most likely now the play offs,
"OH SHIT" I hear everyone say,
But we now need to be confident,
cos we can beat anyone on our day.

So will it be Forest, Reading....
or Swansea we play first?
At least its not Ipswich,
cos with them I think were cursed!!

So lets get Burnley game out the way,
and see what happens then,
If we win we could go up,
as long as QPRs points are dropped by ten!!!

Another trip to Wembley????
Dave Jones likes taking us there!!!
But if we win and get to the promised land,
How we do it, we wont care!!!

A sea of Blue, a splatter of white.
If it was Swansea that we played!!!
No doubt the welsh national anthem would be sung,
But the Jacks will be afraid.

Cos weve been to Wembley loads of times!!!
We know what its all about,
And ok we`ve had some heartache.
But with Bellamy we have more clout!!!

So if we did it can you imagine,
Cardiff City in footballs top tier!!
Can you imagine the songs on Match of the Day,
That this nation will then get to hear!!!

All the armchair fans that sit and watch,
Who cant be bothered to go,
They watch their premiership team on TV,
But switch off before the Football League show!!

So come on City, cast aside,
the ghosts of seasons past,
And get us to the promised land,
So we can all then have a blast!!!

Go to places like Chelsea,
And Arsenal, and the grounds they say are the best,
We dont care how far away some of them are.
Its better than going 40 miles west.

To the concrete, lego home of peg sellers,
That think they are better than us.
But bought a big caravan for their team to travel,
Rather than a spanking 30 seater new bus!!!

We`ve gone so close in years gone by,
Us fans deserve to go up.
So come on boys when we re-visit Wembley,
we want to be lifting that cup.

Let Forest, Reading and the Gypo`s
stay in the league their currently in,
And ensure its us, the Bluebirds, that go to Wembley and win!!!!!!!!
