Why change the tactics when we were winning..?

ive said before about DJ being a proactive rather than a reactive manager when making subs. QPR were starting to get control of the middle by 60mins, could have put darcy on tarrabt and played jay up top on his own with bellers switching to flank in place of whitts. change he made is a reaction to them drawing level cos he was hoping we would stick it out.
