Get arrested (fictionally) for no road tax or something and then tell her you got released as it was a mistake. You couldn't phone cos you were locked in a cell.

as long as the cell has BBC1

wouldnt she phone the local station?

Not sure they can release that info.But you tell her after the event on release rather than before

So I`ve gotta mention its the last game of the season,
Go and buy a dog or drive to Bridgend to get 3,
Take my tax disc off the car and drive around or near the local police station,
Tell her Burnley away is a pre season friendly,
Take all the pots, plates and pans out of the kitchen when she`s at work tomorrow,
go and buy sky tv,
and drive to knebworth and put up some closed signs friday night.
