Players presentation change of date

Fri Apr 15, 2011 5:18 pm

A request was made by the players to move the presentation night from 23rd April to 29th April at the Cardiff City Stadium yesterday. After consultation with all parties including Dave Jones, Mark Hudson, and Gethin Jenkins. The Supporters club in the best interests of the club agreed to the change of date to support the players request. The players stressed how important the 2 games are during the Easter weekend (QPR and Preston) for everyone concerned, and are determined to see the job done. They want to keep their focus on the Preston game and don’t want any distractions as the games are only 2 days apart. The players felt with the boro game now on a Monday night the presentation evening held on Friday 29th April which is a bank Holiday would have very little impact on their preparation. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by the change of date. Those who are unable to attend and have already paid their money will get a full refund. The football club will put a similar statement on the official site confirming the above arrangements for those concerned it maybe a repeat of last year when the date kept being put back eventually not happening at all. We have had assurances from all parties they will attend on the revised date.
