ASK DAVE JONES A QUESTION

Thu Apr 14, 2011 6:20 pm

Pontypridd Town FC are very pleased to announce that Cardiff City Manager Dave Jones has accepted their invitation to be guest speaker at a dinner to celebrate 100 years of football in Pontypridd Town.

The dinner which is to be held at the Park Plaza Hotel in Greyfriars Rd Cardiff on the 21st April, also commemorates the Pontypridd Dragons first season of football in 1911/12 when they played Cardiff City in the Welsh Cup Final which took place at Ninian Park and ended in a 0 0 draw.

With Dave Jones in a tremendous battle to bring Premiership Football to the City which would be a massive boost for its supporters as well as the business community the club is privileged to have Dave as our guest at a very busy time.

As well as Dave Jones, Pontypridd Town have well known BBC Wales favourite presenter and comedian Owen Money to provide the laughter for the evening and the compere for the dinner will be BBC TV and Radio sports presenter Rob Phillips. It is also expected a number of Cardiff City legends are attending the dinner including Phil Dwyer, Don Murray, Gary Bell and George Wood.

Dress code for the evening will be Black Tie/Lounge Suit and Cocktail/Evening Dress.

Tickets for this special evening will be £38 per individual ticket or £350 for tables of 10.

A three course meal plus wine, coffee and welsh cakes will be served. All reservations or enquiries can be made on tel 08450556197 or email allnd8@aol.com
