As long as there any information that you NEED from the e-mails (e.g. you need an e-mail to be recieved, but haven't requested it yet), then definately.

I use GMAIL (Googlemail), and it's a really good service. I don't get any spam, or any that I do get is instantly caught by the Spam filter (It's a really good filter). I'd definately recommend it
