you will need to back up all that you need to save on your pc
preferebly on a external hard drive
then you will need to completly delete every thing off your hard drive on your computer
i little tip dont down load programmes on your computer that you should normally pay for
when you think their free they will always come with loads of adware which causes all your pop ups and redirections
be warned for future use

Get a malware protector. Spybot search and destroy for one

i think its a firewall type thing. regular scans and i think it automatically cleans the computer of shite..need someone to back me up here

2000 is alot, a full restore would help but there's two problems:

they're not easy to do if your not computer savvy

the computer shops will charge you a fortune for 'man hours'

Try using a program called Avast! It's pretty good.

Sounds like you're fecked - Spybot might help you too.

I doubt you're going to clear them all off, if you've got that many you've probably got some Trojans or some Malware on there - you'll know if you come across them, they'll proper feck your computer up!

If you are using windows, go on the Microsoft website and download for free : Microsoft security essentials.
It wiped mine clean although it wasn't in the state yours sounds like it in, I like this one as it's from Microsoft itself so it can't be bad.

Back to factory settings all day long mate!!

Save all your shit onto something external first

sounds like you may have run the clean up software that avg bundle into there virus scanner

you need to run the virus scan option

It's sound like you picked up a virus, are you finding everything running slow and and getting re-directed to 'The Internet Security 2010 web', asking to part with your cash to fix the issues.

You need to down Malwarebytes program from the link below and boot up pc in safe mode, then run this Malearebytes, this will help.

Download.com has all the free stuff you will need e.g. avg free / antimalware free etc. A useful litle tool is crap cleaner. Goto http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/update ... 310&l=1033 - download this, and run it basically every day - it removes all the crap from your pc. It also has a thing called Registry - use this to fix most problems on your pc. Always say yes to making a backup before fixing all found problems. It is also useful for removing traces of any traces of sights you have looked at containing naked women
