2nd place how many points?

been looking at the final league tables for the last few years, most seasons 83 points is enough for 2nd.
think we can win 5 out of 7 which would leave us on 81, will this be enough?

This is not a normal season though as only 1 team (QPR) have moved away from the pack so I think it may take only 81 points to get automatic promotion. A few years ago WBA won the League with 81 points so if we can reach that number of points we will be there or thereabouts.

stoke city got promoted on 79 so it may well be ok

In my opinion, I reckon we can not afford to lose more than 4pts of the 21 left on offer..... That's either 5wins and 2 draws or or 6 wins and a loss - 5 wins 1 draw and a loss is losing 5pts and then it will become very tight for 2nd....
