Will we ever see Wales play in a major finals

I have come to accept that I will never see Wales play in a major finals in my lifetime and I'm only 38. What do you think?

Cant see it happening to be honest

It would be very difficult due to the fact the European section is bloody difficult. Lots of good teams, even the poor teams are way above the quality of poor teams in other regions.

Too many places are given out disproportionately elsewhere for politicisal reasons - take South America. 4 out of 10 automatically qualify, 5th get a relatively easy qualifying game. So, 50% of South America sides get through.

been watching wales on and off since 1974 the current team is the worst.
