when have you been scared going to football?

I've been going to matches since 1980. Only on a number of occasions have I been genuinely scared.

1- Leeds fans spitting on the family section in 1984
2- The CS gas incident in 1987 versus Swansea
3- Legging it down the road from a surging riot near the Ninian Park pub after the 1987 Welsh Cup Final between Newport & Merthyr
4- Being the only Cardiff fan at the Vetch in 1995 and stood on the North Bank with people watching me.
5- being in the Cardiff fans as the Bristol City fans charged us and the police horses forced us back from walking under a bridge with Bristol City fans on, (I went flying over a wall)
5- walking past a Cardiff pub next to the Emirates in Arsenal
6- witnessing the Chelsea- Cardiff confrontations

i`ve never been scared at a match!

Arsenal away in the cup 2 years ago when I was 14, we walked past an Arsenal pub with my dad, trying to find our way back to the coaches, and getting alchohol chucked at us by drunk men, I had to calm my dad down and told him to keep walking. Also, Birmingham away a few years ago when about 10 Birmingham fans around the age of 19-25 charged our coach and started throwing stuff at us (they then got violently taken by police though ).

Also at Millwall away last Saturday when I saw our fan on the bottom tier on the floor not moving, before anyone came to his help. It made me stop celebrating the first goal completley, I was terrified.

Millwall at home first game season 1999 was my first city game when i was 6...shit myself but haven't stop going sinse

quite nervous but it was exciting

Anfield when Wales played Scotland the Kop that night was truly terrifying and it's the one time I have been really scared

following United, Its never been an issue

Walking back from Anfield to Lime st after our cup game, then finding out the following day someone was shot dead just off the route I took.
