Another left back ? Very strange if this happens but it is a write up in mirror.
Plus point os he is out of contact in the summer so would be a freebie. Cant see the point of wasting a loan in this position tho unless he gets released by Bolton
Would this see macnaughton at centerback possibly after doing so well there earlier in season

I said yesterday that the squad with the current injury crisis is still good enough to maintain the promotion push BUT any more injuries will see us very bare at the back now , so ANY new arrival in defence would be welcome now :ayatollah:

Iv been chatting to a Villa season ticket holder. He dont like him. His exact words

" He is lazy but can be good.Calls himself Sweetboy Jay which is worth a piss take. Was supposed to be a big thing at Villa but never took off". He said "he cant defend as he switches off a lot, seems to really lack confidence when playing and hides in tough games. Very suprised City are after him"
He then went on to say " he was the weak link in a team containing Lee Hendrie,Mark Kinsella and Hassan Kachloul, so you can make your decision based on that... he can play, just a lazy tw*t"

Just thought id share his thoughts. Sounds similar to Naylor to me :(

If this deal is done,we will have another player from BaseSoccer on our books of late.

They value JLS at £1.3M on their partner website, lots of ex Cardiff players on there also. :ayatollah:

Other players OUR JAY £2.2 M : Lee Naylor £660,000 : Darcy Blake £660,000 : Adam Matthews £440,000

But then again you can have Aaron Ramsey for £5.2 M or Jack Wilshere for £8.8 M :?:

I would think any club willing to take on Naylor will want more than 660,000 to take him off your hands

JLS is a good player. A LOT worse left backs in this division.

decent player, super kev has done very well every time he's been CB. good move i think :ayatollah:

Re: J LLOYD SAMUEL TO CARDIFF ........

every time ive seen him hes been poor tbh, but id still prefer him to naylor , im guessing if we do sign him either kev or quinn would play in the centre

Re: J LLOYD SAMUEL TO CARDIFF ........

Wed Mar 23, 2011 3:56 pm

of course we could find someone a lot better but its either him or naylor and we are pretty desperate at the moment so why not give it a go :ayatollah:

Awful player, honestly, truly awful.

Re: J LLOYD SAMUEL TO CARDIFF ........

Wed Mar 23, 2011 5:22 pm

My mate Tony from Bolton, has just said he was their best left back until he got injured, then there was a managerial change.
Then Megson brought in Paul Robinson from WBA,then Owen Coyle has signed a young left back from Real Madrid Marcus Alonso.
Samuel is out of contract end of this season.

Defensive wise a solid player, but he does not go forward enough.

He has been playing reserve football for the last 6 weeks.
Not fit yet.
His Wages are about £25,000 a week, we must pay all of it

It would really piss me off if we sign this guy. Iv spoke to 3 Villa fans and 1 Bolton fan now. Every 1 of them said he is the worst left back they have ever seen play in the top flight. DJ is mad if we consider spending that amount on wages. Theres far better around.
