wheres our strength in depth?

all these players that have come in this season and we are no better stregth in depth than last season..
look at the teams around us and they are either strengthening or have decent players on the bench where as we have players of league one calibur..who do we have that we can bring on to change a game?
if we dont bring in 2 players one striker one centreback WE ARE DOOMED
