This will never happen, but if the FA/FAW (whoever has to approve of an emergency loan deal) why not get someone who won't be expensive (that I know of) back at the club? Ross McCormack worth a go? We all know what he can offer, playing in his preferred role upfront, and we know he can score. Whether DJ would go for him though is another matter, but it's not as if Leeds need him, he's rarely played for them this season.

Can't see any way that Brum will allow Phillips to join us, as they're heavily involved in a relegation battle and Phillips has featured in several games for them of late and even started the other day!
I also know that McCormack has also been mentioned a couple of times in this thread and as he's been warming Leeds's bench for the past few months instead of ours, this shows that DJ was right to offload him IMO and even if he was the right player for us, there's no way that Leeds will allow him to come to a promotion rival!
