I saw something today I don't think I've ever seen before.
The ref gives a penalty. He is then surrounded by the opposite teams players complaining.
He then changes his mind and gives a corner.
WHAT THE F**K?
BBC website says he consulted with the fourth official. Well he certainly didn't go over to the touchline and if the fourth official said something via his headset how on earth could the fourth official have seen what had happened from the halfway line, further away from the incident than the ref?
BBC say he booked Bellamy for diving. I think he booked Bellamy for giving the ref a fully deserved bollocking for yet another mistake.
Can't remember seeing a penalty kick decision changed in that way before.
Absolutely shocking. We have had some absolute clowns refereeing our games recently. It's enough to make you think the the conspiracy theorists may have a point!
