cast your minds back

For those of you who are old enough, lets remember when the expectation levels were still sky high but the fans were much more being just satisfied with their lot. As a fan from the 70s i used to marvel at gary Bell and Clarkey and Peter Sayer amongst others, in the 80s it was Bennett :ayatollah: then andy Legge and then big Leo :ayatollah: Remember glorious failure then and not beating ouselves up about cos the club was practically bust and even a lose at lincoln city (was there!!) was greeted with philosphocical murmours of well we had a go but there is always next week. Funnily enough that was the start of the journey that we are now on. Hold on tight lads cos the roller coaster that is Cardiff City will always be turbulent and hairy, frustrating, despairing, hopeful, and optimism and pessimism mixed together in equal measure, thats what benig a fan really is, whether that be supporting at the games, following on the radio or on the net, we all live by our hopes and dreams.
Final note, get behind the lads tomorrow and MAKE SOME NOISE, enjoy the ride :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
