Anyone else just see Lambert talking to the camera, giving an insight into how his footballing mind works? And the way he's done things at Carrow Road?

Just how you have to build a massive relationship with each and every squad member, because this leads to each player giving and extra 5 or 10% every game. And how he doesn't just want promotion, he wants to WIN the league.

Says it all really that they attacked straight from the kick off. Lambert has obviously made it clear what is at stake tonight, if the players even needed telling.

Sounds like Paul Lambert has the same relationship with his players that Owen Coyle had at burnley, pure respect, their players would run through walls for them, where as the opposite is sadly the case with DJ. Dj has turned good players into bad, alienated the younger, up & coming ones, & just looks after his few "favorites".

Also, I think humility in a manager is very, VERY important. Lambert and his players are very humble (as is Owen Coyle). Add that to everything you've mentioned, and it just further reinforces the differences.
Contrast that to Jones and some of our players, spoilt brats with Jones leading the way.

When Steve thomson moved to Burnley [remember him] he spoke of Owen Coyle in an radio interview & said "all the players love him". I wonder how many of our current players could say the same of Dave Jones? Not to mention ex players!!!
