Heads must roll , and how can we give silly goals like that away with big guys like we have Hudson Parking oli ? :ayatollah:
this performance is down to the player not DJ

Let's hope there's a large mirror in the dressing room so he can include himself when he's handing out the criticism.

Carl you are a very knowledgeable person, tell me, if you had invested like the Malaysians, would you be happy? I WOULDN'T BE. At some stage the manager will be replaced it's inevitable. If you bought a Ferrari would you expect it to perform like a Lada?

Re: Dressing room lock-in

Jones should be locked in a cupboard for the rest of the season.

Why do it today? Why was it not done after some of our most awful performances.

Carl do you still think we should listen to you about our promotion prospects, or are you going to admit what many of us feel about DJ. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Are you sure it is a deliberate move, they may all be waiting for someone else to get the door. That's what they all do when there is a 50/50 ball to go for.

Re: Dressing room lock-in

Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:32 pm

If i were the Malaysians or even a director at this time i'd say the best thing at this time would be to rally the whole club, fans, players and even the manager even if i did'nt believe in him. After all thier silence is doing nothing to help anyone pull in the right direction.

Dressing room lock in? Pity there wasn't a Stadium lock out, so we don't have to watch that crap every week :D

Re: Dressing room lock-in

Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:35 pm

Pity he doesn't lock them in for an hour at half time teaching them how to defend a lead with six minutes left.

Re: Dressing room lock-in

Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:35 pm

Look at the first half an hour today Carl. We should have been 'up and at them'
but what do we get.

Still maintain that Mr Jones is the wrong man sorry

Re: Dressing room lock-in

Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:36 pm

the players should look at themselves aswell,no desire or anything today, they dont want it enough and its really showing, couldnt blame jones tactically today

Re: Dressing room lock-in

They're all coming out now. Whitts looks bit sheepish, burkey too.

Quinns all smiles.

So he's given a bollocking to five loan signings one of which earns more in a week than the last centre forward he signed, and two more who's contracts run out at the end of the season and are on their way.Yeah thats gonna work innit.

No the point being that giving a bollocking to players with no long term future at the club, hence little to no emotional investment in the club may not be effective. Especially if they don't share Carl's appreciation of Jones' talents. Whatever they are.

Sounds like the blind leading the blind ! My opinion is get a new number 2 with a bit of tactical knowledge. Jones is good at getting players in but tactically he's not quite there. Any news on how serious chopra Is ?

you could have mourinho as no.2. but if your no.1 is an arrogant know it all, then it makes no difference!

Carl - The problem is that is the attitude throughout the club. It's as if they feel we are too good not to go up and just need to keep on turning up and it will happen.

It doesn't wash. Arrogance is no substitute for effort on a football field. Just watch how hard the Barcelona team works on the pitch and they have enough talent to warrant a bit of arrogance - but their manager and fans won't let them.

Their is a bad smell around our club at the moment and the bond between fans and players is rapidly disappearing. That is a big worry for the future.

Re: Dressing room lock-in

DJ has just said they have had a discussion to try and find out what is going on in the players heads, he wouldn't say anything else because "What's said in the dressing room stays in the dressing room at this football club"

Ask Adam Matthews about that bullshit statement from our great leader. Unbelieveable :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
