The referee at last weeks Birmingham game

He went to book a player but discovered he had left his cards in the changing room. So he pretended he had a card and showed an imaginary one to the player. Then after making a note of the players name into his notebook he was seen putting this imaginary card back in his pocket. Hilarious.

the way i see it,no yellow card shown so the player technically ,should not be penalised.

Ive done a referee's course and you don't actually need cards to send a player off or to book a player, they were just invented to show the crowd and rest of the teams whats happening
