The prob for me is, in the 80's My Rivalry was with Newport not the Jacks.

That's fair enough and while I have put up with shit for years from mates of mine for supporting Cardiff, I have known a good few lads from Newport who were going to watch City from the 80s.

I remember talking to you once outside a pub at Enfield back in the early 90s.
I was on my own and you clocked my Newport accent straight away lol.
We were talking then about more Newport boys should follow Cardiff rather than the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal etc...

I will say I think what they've done with the middle of Newport, shopping wise, is a disgrace. Virtual ghost town on a Sunday

No it's not, actually. That's the life expectancy in just the Gurnos, which is just an estate in Merthyr. They said it was Merthyr as a whole in the papers just to dramatize it.

we work in the 2 towns regular and i must admit Newport is an utter shithole , merthyr is just a sick lazy town evryone seems so lethargic up there, till they run away after robbing you
