I was 16 at the time and I remember Wednesday with their faces painted blue n white taking the piss and slapping ppl, mainly youngsters outside turnstiles by Bob Bank. Also fighting in the ground in Canton end, AR and his lot, holding them at bay and doing well considering numbers. They win and invade pitch at the end, couple scuffles but Cardiff well and truly outnumbered, never liked Wed since then and they go and beat us last game of ssn cpl years ago to make me hate them even more.
They in my top 3 of hated clubs with Jacks and Man U

They seemed to have three quarters of the ground that day. Remember being in the grandstand nearest the grange end and having to be escorted out through the players tunnel along with hundreds of other city fans and walking around the side of the pitch getting loads of abuse from Chelsea who were in the enclosures and the canton!!!! Mad day that was for sure

My 1st ever away ccfc trip was county away that season.
Thank god there were no message boards then. Losing away to county with 7 games left was awful.
