Comments on the pitch after the game by Craig Bellamy

Craig Bellamy in his Ipswich post-match interview when asked about the Palace game on Tuesday, he refers to the CCS pitch:

"............You know it is a different ground, different pitch. It might be nice. So you're fingers crossed there because it is isn't easy. It's for both teams, just not us. You know we want to try and play, that's how we're trying to do it. And it is difficult at times because you know you do have to take one or two extra touches. You see it a couple of times. You lay it off first time and it goes to someone's chest. It is difficult, but you know. You have got to try and adapt to the conditions.

Depends whether you think we have a better footballing team than the opposition on a given day. This is why Arsenal put so much effort and money into their pitch and Wenger is quick to criticise opposition pitches when they are sub-standard.

I dont agree with all this formation stuff, it is eleven players against eleven at the end of the day and if you pick up the main playmaker you can stop most of the threats at source.

Yes but with our "quality" players its more to our disadvantage.

Our pitch is an embarrassment aswell but the same pitch for both teams, talking of embarrassments the players come a close 2nd.

The pitch maybe shit ,But both teams play on it, and we play on it even more so try another one Craig

BUT it should have affected Ipswich more because there pitch is like a bowling green
