Didn't we try and sign him before?
If this guy is wanted by both Everton and Cardiff how come he can't get into relegation threatened Prestons team? And even more bizarre is the fact that the player currently keeping Lonergan out of the Preston team is Iain Turner who is a loan signing from........ Everton? !

What's the point in going to Everton, just to warm the bench. He'll have more chance of games with us.
