some managers release to press that negotiations are ongoing with players etc.

This doesn't really make any sense.
If you're trying to ask what made the deal collapse, apparently Kirkland still has a virus.
If you're trying to ask if Jones telling the press Kirkland has signed is what made the deal collapse, then first find me the quotes from Jones and secondly, the answer's no.

what i mean is that people are saying that DJ has messed it up.
but i dont know how he can mess it up, If he went to the press and said it, it still shouldnt make a big deal as long as no one else came in for him
If the deal has stalled due to a virus, why is people blaming DJ ??
