Not heard that - he was released from Odense due to wanting to return to UK.

Carrol is a good shout! he's looking to prove his worth somewhere, and knuckle down, so we could probably get him cheap, on a short term contract, and give him a chance! He was a decent keeper and DJ has a good record at turning around troubled characters so why not gamble on him.
