Now obviously, I was having a pop at DJ there, but tonight I think he got it spot on. Very decisive changing to 4-5-1 as soon as Rambo scored and we then controlled the game and looked comfortable. Leicester had quite a bit of a ball but couldn't do anything with it and we looked dangerous on the break and perhaps could have got a few more. I feel the key to our clean sheet tonight was DJ tightening it up.
Also, I was pleased with Whitts' booking at the end, he gave it away but cynically took him out to take one for the team and stop them breaking. We were solid and very difficult to break down tonight, this is what i've been going on about in my previous posts. Well done City and DJ, let's hope we can keep it up!

It's funny how a Well Done Dave Jones thread gets one reply (well 2 now 
) where as if we lost and someone posted 'Dave Jones is shit and must go' you would be looking at a 3 pager at the least

To be fair to DJ, he had already identified that our midfield were getting overworked and had McPhail stripped off and ready to come on, just before Ramsey scored!

Fair point, I agree with DJ trying to make the change at 1-0. I thought it was refreshing to see our manager making changes early on, especially as the changes worked for us. There's been too many times where we can all see where we're struggling and DJ just stands on the side with his arms folded doing nothing to change it. Last night he was decisive and made the changes at the right time and this had a factor in us winning and keeping a clean sheet.
