Any HGV 2 Drivers On Here ?

I've not used my license for twenty years and have had a letter from the DVLA to go for a medical as I am old

I may have to use it again shortly, can anyone tell me if what are realistic earnings for an HGV driver, and whether it's all agency work these days.

i have an hgv licence and where i work (neath port talbot council) the only drivers they now use are through an agency.
i am luckily enough employed by the council so not sure what coin they earn but agencies do take a big cut from the hourly rate most workplaces pay..
