How did Heaton allow that ball in last night

Wed Feb 16, 2011 7:27 am

Just saw the goal

O for a goalkeeper that commands

I sit behind the dugout & Jones is forever shouting to him to release the ball early - but he never does

Not Heatons fault, jay let the ball go past him at the front post :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Not Heatons fault - the ball was headed in from nowhere near him. WTH was Bothroyd doing leaving his post :o

Heaton played very well last night and made a couple of very good saves!

Thompson made a run from the back corner of the penalty area (about 20-25 yards) for his goal, nobody picked him up and Heaton had no chance to save his header! :ayatollah:

You're having a laugh!

We're unbeaten in 7 league matches, having conceded 1 goal in the last 3 matches, which included the Jacks and Burnley!

At least when Heaton plays in goal, the back four know when he's going to come for the ball, which is a lot, unlike Marshall, who needs a Satnav to come off his goal line and flaps comically at crosses! :ayatollah:

NO people on here want us to win every game without conceding - then and only then will they blame the team for not producing enough goals

EXACTLY - that's why I think Heaton is much, MUCH better than Marshall !

Anyone remember his performance in the play-off final ?!
