Anyone here serving in the Forces (especially RAF)??

Just seeing if anyone here is in the forces? I have finally decided to join the RAF (as a firefighter) but with the current climate I did wonder whether this is the best idea? With the cuts etc will i be shooting myself in the foot by quitting a secure, steady job for the RAF??

Maccydee is a Sgt in the RAF, Air traffic controller I think. Drop him a pm and I'm sure he will be able to help.

To be honest mate your best bet would be to contact your nearest RAF Careers Office.
I think there is a bit of a freeze on all recruitment at the min, but they will defo know more, or they will find out for you.
