I think if he reads your appraisal of him on this MB he'll probably announce his retirement tomorrow.

He's been poor all season, Does'nt do enough defending. Does'nt seem like he wants to work hard. If you look at the way Rambo battles for the balls and then look at Whits, Poor work rate getting back.

Whittingham truly is an enigma.

Had a fantastic season last year but apart from that during his time here he has been maddeningly inconsistent.

He must be the slowest winger of all time!

He cannot beat anyone. Never takes anyone on.

Cannot tackle. Weak in the air.

Capable of playing an absolute killer pass. About once in every 50 attempts.

The complete definition of a luxury player. Never gives the impression of putting in everything he's got.

Looks lazy but undoubtedly one of the most naturally talented players in the squad.

There's a guy in the Ninian stand who has won more headers

He missed the last game through injury and yeh he did have a poor game but he is a goal creator.

Maybe not at the moment but when fully fit he has fantastic vision to make a key pass.

He is enigmatic but I simply can't agree that he's not good enough for this team.

I'd love to see you tell someone like Darren Purse that he was never up for it because he was English.

Even in our current team, our two best performing players this season (Hudson and Bothroyd) are English.

I feel sorry for Whits he is a good player was poor tonight but there other players been poor but never get slagged off like whits does on here but there you go you have your views but I do not agree as normally Whitts plays good passes and great free kicks Penaltys and corners.

He can change a game with a great bit of magic and has done so many times.

I thought Burnley were a good side one of the best iv seen this season a few players didnt do well as Jay he looked off form and seemed out of possition and fell over a lot tonight
