They are up the top of the championship yet still get shocking crowds :D :D

No it isn't.

They have a HUGE local parks league. 12 divisions. 12 teams in each. Bigger than the Cardiff and District AND cardiff combination combined.

Swansea is a FOOTBALL City. Its just not very big, and they dont have anywhere near as much support form outside the City.

The other thing I'll give them is that when we were both sh1t, there wasnt much difference between their crowds than ours and support for their own club in their own town was stronger in Swansea in the 80's and 90's than it was in Cardiff -similar gates with Cardiff having half their support from outside the City.

Helped maybe by their spell at the top for a couple of seasons, but fact all the same.

Now we are bigger and its fun to take the piss out of their gates, but still respect where its due.
