just an idea regarding the pitch

I thought about it a while ago but just watched the rugby programme on BBC1 and it showed the lighting rig on the pitch at the millennium stadium. If these are the same lights we need couldn't the club borrow or rent these when the rfu isn't using them. The millennium stadium stands without a pitch for time periods during our season so the lights are not needed at these times.

Indeed, but do you seriously think WRU would help us out of the kindness of their hearts... or would they charge an exorbitant amount of rent?

A good point....but imagine if it was the FAW (Football Amateurs of Wales) that owned the lights??

A good point....but imagine if it was the FAW (Football Amateurs of Wales) that owned the lights??

if the FAW owned the lights, they'd turn out to be a lamp. With an energy saving buld. Which doesn't work.

I don't think that is not practical. For one, I suspect that they are being used pretty intensively right now.

I note that you did not suggest borrowing the Liberty's lighting rig/s!
