Are there 2 Phil Brignulls ???

Tue Jan 25, 2011 3:03 pm

Anyone remember the fleet footed, majestic, commanding centre half of the mid to late '80s ? He arrived on the back of an £8k transfer fee which was big news in those days !

Taken from 'football transfers remours website;, surely there can't be another Phil Brignull ???

Phil Brignull's reputation is a formidable one, due to his legendary status within the England Schoolboys and Welsh League, and this has seen his stock rise considerably in terms of coaching positions. Leeds are on the look out for him as he has signalled interest in working somewhere new, he is located near Cheltenham, although apparently a leaky Tottenham defence could do with some toughening up. Phil Brignull is surely the man to fill both these slots?
