Danny Gabbidon

With the rumours of Gabbidon coming back on loan, I've been thinking. Wouldn't it be in everyone's interests if he was coming back to come on a free transfer? A la the poison dwarf down the motorway? Gabbidon is out of contract in the summer, Avram Grant doesn't seem to rate him. It would save them wages - plus we could do without any more loan signings!

He seems to be over the major injury problems(hope that doesn't jinx him!). We all know he's got bags of pace and Hudson looks SO much better when paired with a quicker partner(Super Kev at the moment). Get him back on a permanent deal I reckon!!

Be in with a great shout of auto's with this back four-

McNaughton------Hudson------Gabbidon-------Quinn(DJ ain't gunna pick Matthews!)

Jonesy sign him up, Jonesy Jonesy sign him up! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

He's not had any injuries for about a year now though has he? He had his corrective rehabilitation so that should be it. If we could get him on a respectable wage I'd love to see him back. I reckon he could do a job in the Championship and as a back up centre back in the Premiership. He's been shit at West Ham because they've been playing him full back with no midfield protection in that waste of a team.

Love it when we quote players wages....like we have a clue! Besides, hopefully coming 'home' and playing first team footie, he'd be sensible with wage demands. He's hardly had any injuries since retiring from international footie.

We need to get real. Cardiff City wont be signing a young, quality, cheap, pacey defender who is a good passer of the ball, a good reader of the game and has a perfect injury record and we've all heard of!! There is going to be a catch to anybody we sign. On balance I think Gabbidon would be up there with the best WE COULD GET!!!! :ayatollah:

Exactly 2010/11 18 games! They've only played 23. Hardly a dreadful record. :ayatollah:

I hope the club doctor orders a new sick note pad.
