Keinan passes medical....

Wed Jan 19, 2011 8:37 pm

Passed this afternoon, should sign in the morning.

Back up for Hudson plus 1(Mcnaughton??) I reckon. Means Gabor can probably leave, not a bad thing-apart from last night, at times!, the partnership with Hudson has looked awful and I really don't think it's Hudson's fault-much, much improved IMO.

I'm sure DJ is looking for a centre back (& left back!!) to go straight in to the starting XI. But there aren't many out there at the right price who are available! I think too many fans think transfers are like fantasy footie or championship manager!!

1 or 2 before the window shuts and we'll be there or there abouts!!

Should keep Gabor signing a good one doesn't mean we should lose him we don't have much depth in that area.

Really???
Hudson
McNaughton
Keinan
Blake
Quinn

Gabor leaving could free bring in some ££ and save some wages.

McNaugthon - needed at full back, lose something going forward without him there.
Blake - couldn't pass a kidney stone...
Quinn - probably on way out.

I like Mcnaughton at Centre back-don't have to worry about his passing then! Could always play Matthews at right back-unlikely I know!! Quinn and Blake have both looked as good or better than Gabor at centre back this season. See what you're saying, not masses of covern but if-as Palace were recently-a club offers money for Gabor then it'd be worth thinking about.

I'd love to say yes, but if I had contacts as good as Carls then I'd be a celeb on here wouldn't I!

Kev is only 5'8. Not tall enough for a center back. He's only in that position due to all other options available being cack.

Being 5 ft 8 really killed Gary Mabbutt's career...

I would love to know what Blackpool fans think about Keinan. He's hardly played for them but at the same time he's an Israeli international with Champions League experience so must be decent! Im intrigued but cant say im overwhelmed! However, he sounds better than what we have!

Would rather DJ shipped out Blake than Gyepes.

I know what you're saying, not much in it. But Blake can be average in a few positions not just Gabor's 1!

Don't trust Blake to make the right decisions; he gave the ball away constantly against Stoke and if the reports about him drinking are true, he's not as fit as he should be either - at least with Gyepes you know he will put himself on the line and take one for the team if necessary.

Thought Blake was supposed to have sorted his burger & booze lifestyle? Anyway, I guess if the rest of the transfer window goes as we'd (most importantly DJ) all hope then neither will get much game time anyway.
