My positive from last night.

A few of the squad players did well! stuck at it and got game time!

I guess its back to the age old dilema of a reserve team!

I honest do think wildig needs to go out on loan for the season. he impressed me last night.

I thought for much of the game we matched Stoke and played some nice football. Unfortunately, we didn;t have much goal threat as Parkin was surrounded every time the ball went near him and Keogh lacks the pace to run past defenders - that said he tried as hard as ever. Hudson/Gyepes kept Fuller very quiet and I thought Naylor had his best game for us wit some good tackles and distribution. I also never thought I'd see the day when Rae nutmegged someone, but it happened .

The only downside for me was Darcy Blake who looked lost and gave the ball away continuously and was at fault for both goals, but all in all a respectable defeat if there is such a thing and some good game time for squad players.
