Yes, I thought the same, I didnt think he was injured, just didnt want to play just in case it scuppered his chance of a big earner playing in the premiership.

I agree, theres no way he could replace Bothroyd apart from being a big lad, he will never have the same footballing ability. I truly think he was bought as back up at first but obviously first choice substitute if Jay has an injury or whatever, of course I think he'll slot right in if Jay leaves, but I don't think he was bought for that exact reason. But lets get behind the beast and hope he can do a fantastic job for the bluebirds, with our supply lets hope he gets some goals and terrorizes defenses.

If Jay goes i have no doubt another forward will be brought in with some of the money.
