Jay is out of contract and it's pretty clear he won't sign a new one which in reality means he doesn't want to be here. Do we risk losing him for nothing as we did Ledley? Everyone went absolutely f*cking bonkers that we lost Ledley for nothing. This is no different. Sell him, get cash in and improve the rest of the squad.

Look at the wider picture. Jay is a good player but he isn't a messiah by any means. Players come and players go.

I agree I think he deserves his chance in the prem, just a shame we won't get that much cash. I would prefer to run the contract down for the amount were talking about but if a player wants to leave let them.

I for one feel that if we get a few players in and play a more keep ball passing game we will be a much better and harder team to beat !!
