An Ode......

Mon Jan 11, 2010 7:59 pm

Following on from the poetic thread the other day, here's another installment for the benefit of our cousins from down West.

An ode to The Jacks...
There are a strange bunch of people who live 10 junctions down the road,
And as a tribute to them I’m composing this ode.
Inbred gypo’s living in slums,
Sniffing some glue and shagging their mums.

They live in Caravans, down in Jack Land,
And they’ve all got webbed feet and 6 fingers per hand.
They’re favourite game is the ‘family’ game ‘Twister’,
Left hand to blue, put your dick in your sister.

Their teams full of wankers that we all hate,
None more so than Trundle, or that f*cking tw*t Tate.
Yes, they beat us earlier in the season 2-3,
But by far their greatest victory is hundreds chasing 6 lads into the sea.

They’ve been harping on about ‘Swim Away’ for a while,
But they choose not to mention running the Canton Mile.
Toozey’s (who??) a legend of the North Bank,
And there’s of course Footballs Hardest Away Days with Tank.

Where we have burger vans outside our ground,
They have stalls selling "10 pegs for a pound".
They're all unwashed, they stink to a man,
No showering facilities in their caravan.

They said Martinez was loyal, they just had that feeling,
Then he fucked off to Wigan to work with Dave Whelan.
Oh, how we felt for the dirty inbreds,
As they cried their tears in their sisters beds.

An ode to Roberto...

They said he was a good manager, they said he was the best,
Thats what they said, the gypo's down West.

They all loved John Toshack, but they said Roberto was greater,
But we all knew he was a small Spanish waiter.

When the story about Wigan started to uncoil,
The Jacks thought he wouldn't go, they thought he was loyal.

They begged with him, pleaded with "Please do not go,
We love you, we want you, we need you Roberto"

They actually thought he'd stay, but we knew they'd be bereft,
They were all crying when he finally left.

So know he's in the Premier, plying his trade,
And his Wigan team are constantly outplayed.

When asked about Wigan getting beat in a 9-1 Spurs stuffing,
Martinez replied "Eh, I know nothing".

Dirty Leeds told us as did the tykes
We said he's our saviour now get on your bikes
It will all be much better the future is bright
They said we were mad our heads just not right!

But we knew better ...it couldn't happen again
Rick Wright the Kumars we hated those men
This was a new era it was all going to change
Our sights on the premier it was now in range

New stadium being built as we said our goodbyes
"End of our problems" was the start of the lies
We did have some high points at the end of the day
Things changing "Shattered Dreams to Wembley Way!"

The messiah returned for a supposed big fee
We now know the cost I think you'll agree
Many other mistakes we're all now aware
Have left our coffers useless, empty and bare

Will players leave? Only time will tell
Recent events leave us dangling near hell
But the fans are the rock on which this clubs built
With our support the right way we'll tilt

Ridsdale the man no remorse he has shown
Lies he's repeating please leave us alone
We know that this club again will be great
Because of its fans their passion I rate!

So Ridsdale its time to go down the road
Enough of this damage to Cardiff you've showed
We want to move on with a brand new boss
You leaving the Bluebirds will be no great loss!

So lets look to the future of the mighty Blue Army
New money, new leader not a Chairman who's barmy!
So onwards and upwards no lies anymore
Just Cardiff, new stadium and the old Ninian ROAR!!

Sorry bit rushed, brothers wife just given birth 7 weeks early in the states and a bit manic but all OK a new BLUEBIRD in the USA :ayatollah:
