Google Chrome is a bit faster, but I've never liked it.

Firefox is generally more secure. Plus there is a way to make it a bit faster. I always use firefox.

I used to use Firefox all the time but I had a problem with "bookmarks" and could not use the facility for some reason?

I agree with Dafydd google chrome is way faster than firefox but lesser help resource. Though I use both I use firefox 65% more than google chrome because of the helpful add-ons for firefox. Today I am using the latest version firefox 4 though it is a bit slower than the last version before it I think the graphics is far better than the last.

Sea Monkey is another alternative, especially for those of us who remember the early internet days in the 90s with the old Netscape Navigator.

you notice nobody recommends Internet Explorer?
