When we eventually decided to leave the shanty town centre, and the
OB respectfully moved out of our way...

Getting on that platform was one of the best buzzes I'd ever had, there
was so much back slapping, hugs and high fives I thought we'd won the
super-bowl..

Its only years later you can put it all into perspective, we were a 'premiership'
mob taking care of business against a ramshackle, toothless, hairy-backed
family of inter-related hillbilly's.

It weren't nothing - nothing at all

it was a bit dodgy when i was let out of swansea central police station at 11 o'clock that night but other than that we ruled their town that day

Check out ''lordninian'' profile pic. Think this was the Vetch about 84/85ish, when about 100 of us were in that shitty Cardiff Arms Park copy stand opposite the cage. Invaded the pitch at the start then 5 mins from the end walked around to the North Bank. Bosh it f*cking went right off we were massively outnumbered but it took them ages to come out of that shit tip.

Who remembers that ? Top Ely and Grange boys also Llanrumney and Llanedeyrn.

Ffs lads I was ther,yes it went off near the sigleton pub as two mobs of you met up,1 from the kingsway 2nd from near the grand,,swansea come out from the queens the gary and the singleto,went off every were no one done any one,then ob walked you down west way towards the jack and we made our way down the the other road parallel with you,and it was going off on every street linking.ob stoped us getting on to the mumbles rd and we tryed cuting back up behind you,but again went of with the bill but were forced back.
I will say you were good that day and had big numbers but lads tell the truth,you know it ain't no easy ride down here.
Ps a good mob of you got well done out side the kings in high street,badly,and I riped a thick gold chain of a guy as they were fighting to get back in the pub.
I wil also say ther were more of us then you as only some but still a good mob, and they did have it bad.
So if you going to talk about the day then say all,not what makes you look good.After the game was nuts groups every were,but you only smashed a few windows and slapped a few small groups as most of swansea as always made ther way down mumbles rd and some went to the train station,The day was mayhem agreed,but the only real casualty was the ob who had a right hiding most of the day.

Funny that. All the jacks mention the Kings. (its on You Tube) it was early doors,
a handful of Cardiff, half decent mob of jacks, bouncers broke it all up. My
brother was in there. That was it. Got well done my arse! That half decent mob of
jacks went missing for the rest of the day. You lot got smashed every time any of
you got close enough. The coppers were running from Cardiff . The only reason

Around 150to 200 swansea,And mate they were done bad,because the ob came quick and I ran in to the kfc across from the road, and ther were cardiff bleeding and all over the floor.
A ambulance took some and treated others and ob shut the road for ages untill the ambulance had gone.

Can't comment on that incident as I wasn't there but without doubt there was only one winner after the game and it was abosutely conclusive.

I'm not being funny pal, but sometimes you have to hold your hands up. We have had the same experience with the likes of Chelsea 80s and Man U 70s. Our mob that day was outstanding, and if the OB had not been there, you would have been massacred. As I say, you have to hold your hands up, same would have happened to us against Chelsea and Man Utd on our own patch, its no discrace

I was 20 year old , my first big off - fuckin electric.
I had my first toe to toe with a jack and then cleaned another it was like drugs!

I remember the jewellers getting done and lads telling us not to go on the buses laid on for us.
we took over the town and swansea just backed off and left us to it. I remember little mobs of them calling us on from the bottom of side streets and running when we went for them. I know the jacks are game and did have a little go here and there but they were totally outclassed that day.

we have met once or twice since last time out in prague when wales were there

if i remember correctly it cost us 50 quid not bad for a trip around south wales
