Used to love going to the wrestling at sophia gardens in the seventies. Iron man Steve Logan, Clive Myers, Mick Mcmanus, Mark rollerball rocco, Jonny Saint, great laugh it was, the old dears took it very seriously mind bashing the baddies with their brollies

Wow I am glad someone responded to this link today.....
I was wondering, is Mason Ryan really from Cardiff? He looks like he has potential.
I have watched wrestling for 39 years. I can remember watching a match between Harley Race and Jerry Lawler from the mid-70's with my late grandfather.
My top 5....
1. Jerry Lawler
2. Sgt. Slaughter
3. Mr Wrestling 2
4. Mr. Anderson (Kennedy)
5. The Masked Superstar

Mason Ryan is from a village in North Wales. And his real name isn't Mason Ryan but i cant remember his real name. They said he was from Cardiff as they needed somewhere big that the Yanks can relate to. Wade Barrett is from Preston not Manchester
for the same reason

Bret the Hitman Hart was and still is my all time favourite. My current favourite is CM Punk, not only is he a hell of a wrestler, but the WWE was getting stale and boring until the creative team gave him some freedom. The current storyline between CM Punk and Triple H is awesome and reminds me of the McMahon/Austin feud.
