it does my head in that if a wru international signs a rugger ball for charity its front page news but after all the time and effort thats been put in this project they still turn a blind eye

Yes we're well on the way now.

We'll actually run out of CD's, vinyls and picture discs pretty soon the way it's going.
That's why I'm telling people to get them pre-ordered.

There are some being kept back for Supermarkets and HMV shops and we'll be doing signings there.

The key will be for people to head to itunes..

That's how Rage against the Machine smashed it...and we have a really good chance of doing that as the club will send it out on email (huge database) and it's getting fans just to download it anyway (only 99p) cause it's for a great cause.

If we do that we have a real chance of getting a BIG hit.

I'm meeting with the record company tomorrow as it's obviously become very serious now and they'll be hitting the press with the 'Miners song for a War hero' v's 'Cheryl Cole from X factor'...

We'll pick up a lot of people (especially on the net) because of this who aren't even City or Football fans...plus there's a lot of love for SFA's, Catatonia and FFAF out there..

So in all, the way it's going we should be getting a very big hit...HOW big?
Is up to us and where we spread it...but at the moment (I wont lie) we are flying ahead of everyone...

Well I have to admit I did get the idea for the tune and words from 25,000 Cardiff City fans....

But Owen from Catatonia and me whacked into some kind of form and then I wrote an extra verse getting 'Cardiff' in the lyrics too.

Seemed fair enough as it was fans of Cardiff City that had kept it alive....even though it was us Taffs that brought it down from the hills....

With it being an old miners song any chancy of some opportunist marketing and some how get some publicity by jumping on the chilean miner story
